Education Alley - Word On The Street

The Word On The Street movie was made in February 2012 over a period of a week. The movie is about promoting self-education amongst the people of Durban, South Africa. It only plays for 1 minute, but communicates a clear massage to the viewing audience. The movie was created using stop-start animation (stop motion) with images that had been taken whilst painting a mural for the community of Umbilo, Durban. The mural was painted across a school and a bottle-store which complimented the massage we were trying to put across. The mural still stands until today across Port Natal High School, and inspires the whole community.
